Carla Crosta was born in Milan, where she currently lives and works.
She graduated in sculpture at Academia di Belle Arti di Brera, where she attended a course held by Giacomo Manzù.
She exhibited her pieces at several international exhibitions and did a personal exhibition in Milan at the Center Cultura di Palazzo Durini.
She taught  at Milan's European Institute of Design in the Graphic, Illustration and the Fashion Department's as well as in several high schools of Milan.
She also was a member of a faculty at the Music and Dance School, an experimental course helded by Ballet School of the Scala of Milan. Finaly she also had the design seminars at the Politecnico di Milano.
 She worked with several companies as Fiorio, Gucci, Bassetti, Marcato, ViBiEffe, for whom she designed fabric apparel, shawls, and tie patterns, as well as for furniture and household fabrics. She makes and designs bags, scabs, hots, ties, tapestry, and other recycled material object with paper and fabrics. Carla Crosta was born in Milan, where she currently lives and works.

Carla Crostata è nata a Milano dove vive e lavora.
Diplomata in scultura all'accademia delle Belle Arti  Di Brera, dopo avere eseguito Il corso di Giacomo Manzù.
 Ha esposto sue opere in varie mostre nazionali e in una personale a Milano al centro cultura di palazzo Durini. Ha insegnato all'Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano nei Dipartimenti di Grafica, Illustrazione e Moda.
Ha inoltre insegnato in diversi licei milanesi e al liceo Coreutico nel corso sperimentale della Scuola di Ballo della Scala di Milano. Ha tenuto seminari progettuali al Politecnico di Milano.  
Ha lavorato con varie aziende come Fiorio, Gucci, Bassetti, Marcato,  ViBiEffe, per le quali ha realizzato disegni per tessuti per l'abbigliamento per la collezione di foulard e cravatte, per l'arredamento e per la biancheria per la casa. Con materiali come la carta e i tessuti progetta e prepara borse, sciarpe, cappelli, cravatte, arazzi, collage, patchwork e oggetti con materiale riciclato.
